And a little more snow in Zürich!

Woke up to lovely snow this morning! It's now snowing again lightly as I type and am hoping it will turn into a veritable nowball overnight!

From my window...

St Andrews after choir practice, we seem to have missed most of the snow here but it was actually snowing when I took this!

Christmas Lights in Zürich

Oh no I have to go back to the UK in 6 days!

Have to go back to the UK now as my course is finished and I was unable to secure a job to stay, but haven't given up hope I will find on very soon, just have to go back to UK to get working again.

1. Speak German like a (Swiss) native - obviously! OK well not quite but am actually getting a handle on this very difficult language!

2. Make a bunch of new friends Yes!!!

3. Improve my climbing to French Grade 8a Not quite but am now tackling 6c lead climbing

4. Do several tours with Roger Schäli - because he's not only an awesome climber but great fun! Not several but have laid the foundations. Climbing sessions indoors were a huge success and we will go on tour very soon.

5. Climb the Eiger (why not I say?) Tee hee

6. Deep Water Soloing - where there's guaranteed warm water! No warm water yet!

7. Get a really good job at the end of my course No luck on job front unfortunately as I really want to stay but will keep looking from the UK.

8. Get a lovely, bright apartment As above

9. Learn to ski! OK OK ....I can't help if I've never skied before! Winter isn't quite here yet! Well ok the bank won't allow me too!

10. Find a way (somehow) to get the money to go to Patagonia! Its ok Patagonia is off!

11. Ice Climb ' Later on in the Winter

Magnet Halle

Climbing with Roger was brilliant! He's a super instructor and very very patient!
Back on Wednesday for more and he's going to sort out a tour where we can do some 10 pitch climbs outdoors.
He said I have an alpine style of climbing and he likes it!

School outing to the Museum

This was a great day, we visited the Kuntshaus Art Museum and all had to do a presentation on a piece of art selected by our tutor Marco. I had to do the Gates of Hell Auguste Rodin.
